Our 6th Child - Adoption.com Forums

I am a Mommy to five...Birdman (17), Shmoobi (16), Sport (11), Princess (3) & Jazzy (2). Shmoobi is our biological son, the other four our our adoptive/foster children. I run an in-home daycare caring for my two daughters, three 2 year old girls and two school age girls. Well Sport & Jazzy's biological mother delivered a healthy baby girl last Friday and the baby was placed into foster care into our home. I am trying to manage my daycare plus my toddler daughters with a newborn baby girl. Here are some questions for those with infants and toddlers?

* Do you go outside often? We were going out 2-4 hours a day? I am in Western NY so it can get cold here!
* Do you ask the toddlers not to touch the baby (germs)?
* Do you limit field trips and outings? We currently attend an outside pre-school T/Th and ballet Friday plus a field trip Wednesdays.
* Do you have any advice for a Mommy of six/ having three girls ages 3 and under?

My husband and I are so happy to have such a big family but are working on finding our new routine and making it work for us giving all our children attention, love and guidance!

Yemen's president acknowledges approving U.S. drone strikes

Yemen's president said Saturday that he personally approves every U.S. drone strike in his country and described the remotely piloted aircraft as a technical marvel that has helped reverse al-Qaeda's gains.

President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi also provided new details about the monitoring of counterterrorism missions from a joint operations center in Yemen that he said is staffed by military and intelligence personnel from the United States, Saudi Arabia and Oman.

Hadi's comments mark the first time he has publicly acknowledged his direct role in a campaign of strikes by U.S. drones and conventional aircraft targeting an al-Qaeda franchise that is seen as the most potent terrorist threat to the United States.

"Every operation, before taking place, they take permission from the president," Hadi said. Praising the accuracy of the remotely operated aircraft, he added, "The drone technologically is more advanced than the human brain."

The U.S. Joint Special Operations Command and the CIA have carried out 33 airstrikes in Yemen this year, compared with 10 in 2011, according to the Long War Journal website, which tracks drone attacks.

How I reduced salt in a favorite dish - Do You Really Know What ...

You'd expect a dish with two small but mighty ocean fish to be salty, but pasta with canned sardines and anchovies really piles in on.

There is sodium in nearly every ingredient, including the imported Colavita whole-wheat pasta I sometimes use.

The first way to cut salt in the recipe is to stop salting the water used for boiling the pasta.

In the past, I'd pump up the flavor by dumping? sardines and anchovies and all their oil into the sauce, but now I drain the cans and add extra-virgin olive oil, which has no sodium.

A 2-ounce can of anchovies has 860 milligrams of sodium or 36% of the recommended daily intake of 2,400 milligrams.?

The anchovies dissolve completely, but give the sauce a hearty, non-fishy flavor.

A 4-ounce-plus can of the Moroccan sardines I use has 603 milligrams of sodium.

But the only way to avoid more sodium in the sauce is to make it yourself.

Today, I looked at the labels of a dozen bottled pasta sauces at the Hackensack ShopRite, and typically saw more than 300, 400 or even 500 milligrams of sodium listed for a serving size of one-half cup.

I found the lowest salt content in Chef Mario Batali's Tomato Basil pasta sauce -- only 180 mg per half cup -- but other Mario Batali sauces have a lot more sodium.

When I serve pasta with sardines and anchovies, I like to add grated Pecorino Romano, a sheep's milk cheese, so that's another source of sodium.

Not using salt in the pasta water and draining the cans of fish are good first steps, but I think I have to go further.

I could cut the amount of sardines -- to two cans from three or four per pound of pasta -- as well as use less bottled sauce and more extra-virgin olive oil.

I could also stop adding anchovies, but the sauce wouldn't be as robust. I can skip the grated cheese.

And I can console myself about the high sodium content of the dish by always drinking a glass or two of red wine with it.

At least that would be good for my heart.

Bad Piggies for iPhone and iPad review

After what feels like an eternity since Angry Birds maker Rovio teased that they were working on a game that was from the pigs point of view, Bad Piggies is finally here. I wouldn't call it a "sequel" to Angry Birds, however, because it doesn't feature the birds at all. Instead, it's an entirely new game featuring only the pigs -- and it's awesome!

The objective of Bad Piggies is to help the pigs build modes of transportation to get them to the finish line. Each level also has the option of earning up to three stars, but unlike Angry Birds, these stars are not based off points and don't need to be earned in a single attempt. In fact, you usually can't earn all the star at once. Every level will give you one star for completing the level, another one for collecting the star icon, but the objective for the third star varies from level to level. For example, one level may have a time requirement, another may require that you not use a specific object in your machine, and another level may require you to get to the finish line without blowing up TNT. I'm a huge fan of this approach to earning stars because it fosters creativity since you usually have to change your vehicle's design to earn all the stars.

If you get stuck on a level and need help with designing your vehicle, you can purchase the Mechanic Pig and he'll build one for you. Although the Mechanic Pig's design won't necessarily earn all stars for you, he at least gets you started so that all you have to do is tweek the vehicle to help you get all three stars.

In addition to the 60 levels included, Bad Piggies also includes 4 very difficult "sandbox levels", 30 puzzles that can be unlocked by earning three stars on levels, and an extra-special, super-secret level that will be revealed after collecting all the skulls.

Bad Piggies is availalble as separate purchases for the iPhone and iPad, but unfortunately, the iPhone version doesn't support the iPhone 5's larger display, yet. Another big disappointment about Bad Piggies is that, just like Angry Birds, there is no iCloud sync available to keep your levels in sync between devices. This is such a terrible decision by Rovio because it actually discourages people from purchasing both versions.

The good

  • Fun and addicting
  • Different than Angry Birds
  • 60 levels crammed with flying/driving/crashing fun
  • 30 additional puzzles unlocked by three-starring levels
  • 4 sandbox levels to stretch your creativity
  • Ultra-special, ultra-secret, ultra-difficult sandbox level to unlock by collecting all the skulls!
  • 33 objects to create the ultimate machine: motors, wings, fans, bottle rockets, umbrellas, balloons, and much more!
  • Purchase the mechanic pig and he'll help you build your mode of transportation needed to complete the level Mechanic Pig

The bad

  • No iCloud sync between iPhone and iPad
  • iPhone version is not optimized for the iPhone 5

The bottom line

Rovio has done a great job with Bad PIggies and it was worth the wait. It's a completely different game from Angry Birds that is challenging, fun, and addicting.

Re: AVG PC Tuneup Customer - AVG Forums

reallymadnow..

Yesterday evening, I spent over an hour in an ?online CHAT??.only to receive confirmation of the original license number - that is not being recognised.

This morning, I have spent two hours on the telephone speaking to two different agents (possibly) located in the USA or one of it?s off shore call centres?.and constantly being put on hold to await a technician?s response?.which doesn?t come....so I eventualy hung up - TWICE.

PROBLEM; I tried to update AVG Tune UP 2012.?on doing so, the original programme was removed from the laptop?and the new ?trial? version installed. When entering the existing license number?it simply transfers me to a web page where I can purchase the new version.

As the original version was valid until February 7th 2013.?I do not currently wish to purchase again.

I believe all it requires a new license number to be generated for the trial version that is currently on the laptop - that will take me to February 7th 2013 - when I would need to renew!

I am extremely disappointed with the difficulty experienced in trying to contact AVG UK direct?..and with the unacceptable level of delays - plus, the time kept on hold. My time is extremely valuable..... angry

If this is the standard of AVG customer support?.I regret that I will not renew in future (Our home & business runs two computers?.. each running AVG Internet Security - plus, AVG Tune Up) - and will no longer recommend to colleagues/friends.

Man fatally shoots self on TV after Ariz. chase

In this video grab provided by Fox 10 News, a vehicle involved in a police car chase is followed on an interstate highway by a television station helicopter west of Phoenix, Friday, Sept. 28, 2012. In this video grab provided by Fox 10 News, a vehicle involved in a police car chase is followed on an interstate highway by a television station helicopter west of Phoenix, Friday, Sept. 28, 2012. Police say a man fatally shot himself in the head on live national television at the end of the high-speed chase that began in Phoenix when the driver stopped, ran into the desert and placed a handgun to his head and fired. (AP Photo/Fox 10 News)

Map shows Tonopah Arizona, where a suspected car-jacker appears to shoot himself on live television.

(AP) ? A man fatally shot himself in the head Friday on live national television at the end of a high-speed carjacking chase that began in Phoenix and ended about 90 minutes later within 80 miles of the California border.

Fox News was covering the chase that began about midday using a live helicopter shot from Phoenix affiliate KSAZ-TV. The man driving a copper-colored four-door sedan stopped, ran into the desert and placed a handgun to his head and fired.

The man was declared dead at the scene and hasn't yet been identified, according to Sgt. Tommy Thompson, a Phoenix police spokesman.

Fox News anchor Shepard Smith told viewers that the video was supposed to be on a 10-second delay so it could be cut off from airing if something went awry.

"We really messed up, and we're all very sorry," Smith said.

Fox apologized for showing the violence on air.

"We took every precaution to avoid any such live incident by putting the helicopter pictures on a five second delay," said Michael Clemente, executive vice president of news editorial. "Unfortunately, this mistake was the result of a severe human error and we apologize for what viewers ultimately saw on the screen."

More frequently than its rivals, Fox News Channel picks up car chases from its local affiliates and airs them live. It's gripping television, a live mystery with no clear resolution, and often provides a short-term ratings boost as viewers tune in to see how it ends. Critics say the chases themselves rarely rise to the level of national news. The Phoenix station was not airing the chase live when it ended.

Thompson said the man allegedly stole a car from a couple at gunpoint outside a Phoenix restaurant just before 11 a.m. MST.

Police officers located the vehicle and began a pursuit and the man fired several shots, Thompson said. He said the shots hit the police vehicle and the officers escaped injury.

The suspect headed west on Interstate 10, then pulled onto a dirt road that Thompson said was "70 to 80 miles east of the California line."

"He got out of the car and shot himself," Thompson said. "Efforts to revive him were not successful and he was dead at the scene. We don't have an ID yet."

Fox returned repeatedly to shots showing the car passing big-rig trucks that typically travel at about 70 mph as if they were standing still.

Police cars did not appear to be immediately behind the car during most of the chase.

Shepard Smith was narrating the video and clearly had his doubts about what was being shown from the moment the man stopped the car. "This scares me," he said.

"You wait for the end of these things and you worry about how they may end up," he said. "This makes me a little nervous, I got to tell you. A little nervous."

The video showed the man running erratically in a field before putting the gun to his head and firing. He fell to the ground.

Fox's picture quickly cut to Smith, who was shouting "get off, get off, get off, get off."

After the commercial break, Smith apologized repeatedly.

"That didn't belong on TV. We took every precaution we knew how to take to keep that from being on TV and I personally apologize to you that that happened," he said.

Camera+ Arrives on the iPad

Camera+ -- one of the most popular photo apps for the iPhone -- is now available for the iPad.

[More from Mashable: Netflix Updates App for iPhone 5 and iOS 6]

The iPad app comes a little over two years after the original app. In that time, Camera+ [iTunes link] has gone on to sell over 9 million copies, making it the most popular paid photo app in the App Store.

Today, tap tap tap, the crew behind Camera+, has released the long-anticipated iPad version [iTunes link] of the app.

[More from Mashable: Lasers Blast iPhone 5 in Brutal Showdown [VIDEO]]

So why would you want a photo app on the iPad? Not so much for taking pictures as for editing them.

Sure, Camera+ can help users take better photos with the iPad (especially if you use the improved rear camera on the retina iPad) But the real benefit is that the app syncs seamlessly with Camera+ for iPhone.

Camera+'s Lightbox syncs between devices using iCloud. If you take a photo on your iPhone, so long as iCloud sync is enabled, you can see that same image on your iPad. Moreover, any edits made to the photos will be synced across devices. Deleting a photo from one Lightbox will remove it across the board.

Camera+ for iPhone has also received an update for the iPhone 5's screen -- a welcome update for users such as myself who use it as a replacement for Apple's default camera app.

One of the best parts of the new iPad is its retina display. Even now, six months after its release, I still find myself marveling at the clarity of photographs on it.

This is where Camera+ for iPad really shines. The iCloud integration means the full-sized images are viewable within the app. Thanks to the high resolution display, I can view nearly full-sized images from the iPhone 5 within Camera+, each detail beautifully displayed.

From there, you can start playing around with various settings that adjust how an image looks. This includes Camera+'s excellent "Clarity" mode -- which just makes images and colors pop.

A new feature for the iPad is the ability to layer effects on top of one another. That means I can add a fade effect and cross-process, and adjust the intensity of both. (Apps such as Snapseed have had that ability for a long time. Still, it's great to have it in Camera+ too.)

I can't wait to spend more time with Camera+ on my iPad. In its first iteration, the app already pairs seamlessly with Camera+ for iPhone and offers users a great way to edit photos and share them across various social networks.

And yes, you can take photos using the iPad and Camera+. You just might look silly doing it.

Camera+ for iPad and Camera+ for iPhone are both on sale for $0.99 in the App Store. What are you favorite photo apps for iOS? Let us know in the comments.

Turkey's Erdogan signals talks with Kurdish militants possible

ISTANBUL (Reuters) - Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan signaled that new talks between the state and Kurdish militants might be possible as his government faces an upsurge in separatist violence in the country's southeast.

Turkish intelligence officials have maintained contact with senior figures from the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) in recent years to try to end a conflict that has claimed more than 40,000 lives, but discussions have broken down.

"Regarding Imrali, there could be more talks," Erdogan said in a televised interview with broadcaster Kanal 7 late on Wednesday, referring to the island south of Istanbul where PKK leader Abdullah Ocalan is imprisoned.

"There is a military dimension to this, a security dimension which is separate and will continue. But beside this there is a diplomatic, socio-economic and psychological dimension," he said.

Erdogan spoke after Turkey's main pro-Kurdish party called for the resumption of talks between the state and the PKK to prevent a further escalation of violence.

Clashes in recent months between Turkey's armed forces and militants from the PKK - considered a terrorist organization by Ankara, the United States and European Union - have been among the heaviest since the group took up arms 28 years ago.

Ankara has also linked the surge in violence to the unrest in neighboring Syria. Erdogan has accused President Bashar al-Assad of arming the PKK militants, and raised the possibility of military intervention in Syria if the PKK were to launch attacks from Syrian soil.

The head of Turkey's armed forces said in a newspaper interview on Wednesday the military also had the capability to launch a sustained operation against the PKK in northern Iraq.

Erdogan gave the interview days before his ruling AK Party's congress where he is expected to set out the party's future as it goes through its biggest overhaul since coming to power a decade ago.

Since elections in June 2011, the conflict with the PKK has killed more than 700 people, according to the International Crisis Group, the highest toll in a 15-month period since Ocalan was captured and jailed in 1999.

Computers match humans in understanding art

ScienceDaily (Sep. 25, 2012) ? Understanding and evaluating art has widely been considered as a task meant for humans, until now. Computer scientists Lior Shamir and Jane Tarakhovsky of Lawrence Technological University in Michigan tackled the question "can machines understand art?" The results were very surprising. In fact, an algorithm has been developed that demonstrates computers are able to "understand" art in a fashion very similar to how art historians perform their analysis, mimicking the perception of expert art critiques.

In the experiment, published in the recent issue of ACM Journal on Computing and Cultural Heritage, the researchers used approximately 1,000 paintings of 34 well-known artists, and let the computer algorithm analyze the similarity between them based solely on the visual content of the paintings, and without any human guidance. Surprisingly, the computer provided a network of similarities between painters that is largely in agreement with the perception of art historians.

The analysis showed that the computer was clearly able to identify the differences between classical realism and modern artistic styles, and automatically separated the painters into two groups, 18 classical painters and 16 modern painters. Inside these two broad groups the computer identified sub-groups of painters that were part of the same artistic movements. For instance, the computer automatically placed the High Renaissance artists Raphael, Leonardo Da Vinci, and Michelangelo very close to each other. The Baroque painters Vermeer, Rubens and Rembrandt were also clustered together by the algorithm, showing that the computer automatically identified that these painters share similar artistic styles.

The automatic computer analysis is in agreement with the view of art historians, who associate these three painters with the Baroque artistic movement. Similarly, the computer algorithm deduced that Gauguin and C?zanne, both considered post-impressionists, have similar artistic styles, and also identified similarities between the styles of Salvador Dali, Max Ernst, and Giorgio de Chirico, all are considered by art historians to be part of the surrealism school of art. Overall, the computer automatically produced an analysis that is in large agreement with the influential links between painters and artistic movements as defined by art historians and critiques.

While the average non-expert can normally make the broad differentiation between modern art and classical realism, they have difficulty telling the difference between closely related schools of art such as Early and High Renaissance or Mannerism and Romanticism. The experiment showed that machines can outperform untrained humans in the analysis of fine art.

The experiment was performed by computing from each painting 4,027 numerical image context descriptors -- numbers that reflect the content of the image such as texture, color and shapes in a quantitative fashion. This allows the computer to reflect very many aspects of the visual content, and use pattern recognition and statistical methods to detect complex patterns of similarities and dissimilarities between the artistic styles and then quantify these similarities.

Vampire squid sucks up garbage, not blood

Despite their name, vampire squid are not deep-sea bloodsuckers. In fact, new research finds these mysterious creatures are garbage disposals of the ocean.

Using long, skinny tendrils called filaments, vampire squid capture marine detritus hovering in the water ? from crustacean eyes and legs to larvae poop ? then coat it in mucus before chowing down, according to the new findings.

The discovery is a first for cephalopods, which include squid, octopus and cuttlefish, said study researcher Henk-Jan Hoving.

"It's the first record of a cephalopod that doesn't hunt for living prey," Hoving, a postdoctoral scientist at the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute in California, told LiveScience.

    3. A clock to keep time after universe dies
    4. Is the uncertainty principle misunderstood?

A mystery squid
Vampire squid (Vampyroteuthis infernalis), which grow to be about a foot (30 centimeters) long, are widespread but not well-known. Even their life spans remains a mystery. Their name comes from their dark coloring, red eyes and the cloak-like webbing between their arms. And as namesakes of the undead, vampire squid apparently have little need for breathing. They thrive in oceanic oxygen minimum zones, where the oxygen levels are sometimes less than 5 percent that of the surrounding air. ?

Adding to their mystique, vampire squid are capable of bioluminescence. They use this self-made light to blend in with sunlight filtering down to the deep sea.

Along with their eight arms, vampire squid have two long, whiplike filaments. Researchers have long suspected that these long tendrils might help the squid feed, but the new study is the first to clarify how. [ Under the Sea: A Squid Album ]

Hoving and his colleagues observed captured vampire squid in the lab and also pored over 24 hours of videotape of vampire squid seen between 1992 and 2012 in their natural environments in Monterey Bay submarine canyon off the coast of Northern California.

Hoving said he first noticed that after researchers added some food to a tank containing a captive vampire squid, the animal retracted its filament and wiped it off on its suckered arms. And in the videos, Hoving noticed vampire squid with "amorphous masses" in their mouths.

After Hoving examined the digestive tract contents of museum specimens of squid, he began to put the pieces together. Instead of containing chewed-up fish or crustaceans as the stomachs of most cephalopods do, the vampire squid stomachs held bits of flotsam and jetsam: fish eggs, bits of crustacean antennae and eyes and legs, larvae and even larvae feces, among other things. These scraps were cemented together by chunks of mucus.

Vampire feeding strategy
An anatomical examination of the squid revealed their suckers have no suction power; rather, they excrete mucus. What appears to happen, Hoving said, is that squid hover in the water, extending out a filament (which can be up to eight times as long as their own body). Such behavior was seen in 33 percent of video observations.

Marine detritus, including bits of dead crustaceans, larvae, eggs and even tiny jellyfish-like creatures called salps, fall and float past the filament, getting caught on sticky hairs on the structure. The squid can then pull in the food and brush it onto their arms, which coat the food with mucus to stick it together. Finger-like appendages called cirri then move the food toward the mouth at the base of the arms. [ 10 Scariest Sea Creatures ]

This passive eating style enables the squid to live in low-oxygen zones in the ocean, Hoving said. Vampire squid also have extremely low metabolisms and a specialized protein in their respiratory system that clings strongly to oxygen molecules, he said.

With this knowledge, Hoving said, researchers can study how fast the squid grow and how long they live.

"It shows again that cephalopods are extremely adapted in a wide variety of ways to the ocean habitat," Hoving said. "They're very successful in the world's oceans. It's amazing that some of these cephalopods have even found ways to live under conditions that are adverse to most other animals."

The researchers reported their findings Tuesday in the journal Proceedings of the Royal Society B.?

No More Awkward ?You Owe Me Money? Reminders: PayByGroup Lets Friends Split Group Purchases

paybygroupThe service has a slightly different focus than some of the crowdfunding platforms that have sprung up as of late, like CrowdTilt for example (which the TechCrunch team used this summer). Unlike those services, PayByGroup isn't about raising money for a cause with everybody throwing in what they can. Instead, it's meant to streamline the still somewhat cumbersome process of getting a group of people together to purchase a big-ticket item, like a vacation rental. In in these?scenarios, group organizers often have to play the role of the "bad guy," awkwardly having to remind people to pay them back for the money they fronted, or wasting time trying to collect everyone's share while the item - maybe awesome front-row tickets to a favorite band - gets sold out.

Who are the real beneficiaries of an open house? What are the ...

?

Open houses are a thing of the past. They made sense when properties for sale where not easily?accessible?to buyers and when agents where using printed property directories to find properties for their clients. Those days are gone. Nowadays, buyers do not need an agent to find them a property. Buyers can (and like) to search and find properties for sale on their own. The truth is that the most important job of a real estate agent is not to find a property to their buyers and to find a buyer to their sellers.?Why not?

Because buyers need an agent to:

  • conduct a market analysis to ensure that sales price is no higher than the market value price,
  • write up an offer, to negotiate the terms of the contract, to negotiate repairs after inspection was completed,
  • ensure that the required documents the contract dictates if provided to the buyers within the prescribed time frame.

And because sellers need an agent to:

  • help them prepare the property for sale -decluttering, repairs and staging-,
  • conduct a market analysis to price the property at a market value price,
  • market the property online -property description, pictures and mandated listing documents-,
  • negotiate the offers that come in, the negotiate repairs after inspection was completed,
  • ensure that all of the required documents are completed as the contract dictates.

In summary, buyers and sellers need a licensed real estate professional to guide and protect them from the time they have their first contact to the day the transaction is closed.

Another important piece of information I have been disclosing to my sellers is that open houses are not done with the goal of?selling?that particular property. I let my sellers know that the real beneficiary of an open house is going to be me. I also let my sellers know that most of the open house attendees are going to be?their?curious?neighbors and people that are driving around the neighborhood.?If you are selling or considering to sell your property, you need to know this.

See, the truth of the matter is that agents conduct open houses to market themselves (and their broker) AND to ?convert? unrepresented buyers into their clients. Open houses are a way for agents to expand their data base to then expand their business. And they do. I heard it first-hand how new agents, especially new-to-town-agents built their data base and got a few new clients by doing open houses when they started?their?business and?their?business was ?slow?. In fact, a previous broker of mine mandated that I and all the other new agents completed a ?New Agents Training? in which a class on how to take advantage of open houses was taught to all of us as a tool to expand our client base and find new buyers.

So, now you know who the real beneficiary of an open house is and since you like your agent so much, you are still considering allowing him/her to do open houses to help them grow their business. Your are still thinking ?It doesn?t hurt me and maybe, just maybe, a buyer may fall in love with my house at the open house and buy it?. Not so true?

In Texas at least, visitors of an open house are not mandated, nor they are asked, to provide a valid picture ID before they enter into an open house. Most agents holding an open house have a sign-in sheet asking for visitors to register with their name and a phone number or email and ? that?s it. Most visitors register with a fake name and they are in the house. No questions asked.

Once the visitor ?registered?, s/he is allowed to roam the property at their own will while the agent sits either in the kitchen or living area greeting other visitors or doing some personal work -updating?their?database, writing Thank-You notes and the like.

Alright. If you having figure it out yet, let me tell you what some of the dangers are by having strangers roaming your property at their leisure:

  • They can be?studying?your property for a future break-in by taking account of the existence and location of a security system, windows, visibility of back door, etc.
  • They may take with them some of your belongings: jewelry and medicine are the most sought-after items.
  • They may be studying your family profile by the pictures you have displayed and the clothing in your closets: ?This looks like a adult-female and two young children home? my buyers recently commented when I showed them a property.

I personally think that the marketing strategies some agents are using to capture more listings -such as offering open houses as a marketing tool to ?benefit? the seller- are not only deceitful but unethical. Article 1 of the ?Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice of the National Association of REALTORS?? states:

??When representing a buyer, seller, landlord, tenant, or other client as an agent, REALTORS? pledge themselves to protect and promote the interests of their client. This obligation to the client is primary, but it does not relieve REALTORS? of their obligation to treat all parties honestly. When serving a buyer, seller, landlord, tenant or other party in a non-agency capacity, REALTORS? remain obligated to treat all parties honestly. (Amended 1/01)?

Information is power. The purpose of this blog is to educate and empower prospective sellers and sellers so they can make informed decisions when it comes to deciding if they would allow?their?listing agent or broker to hold their house open.

Happy selling you?all!
