Snorkelers rejoice: Sony's decided to push its current trend for water-resistant phones to new heights, with the launch of the Xperia ZR which is waterproof to 5 feet.
The 4.6-inch Android phone even has a big ol' camera button on its side to make sure its easy to take pictures and film HD video while you're snorkeling. Or in the bath. Location is up to you, really.
In terms of specs, the phones packs a Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core 1.5GH CPU, 2GB RAM, LTE, NFC, a 4.6-inch 720p OptiContrast OLED screen and a 13-megapixel Exmor RS image sensor. There's currently no word yet on pricing or availability?but it could be the perfect phone to take on vacation with you. [Sony via Engadget]
